ESDC hosts creative movement workshops for adults with special needs, as part of the Movement Opportunities Via Experience program at the Center for Disability Services. Each residency culminates in a performance, highlighting this special population's ever-expanding creativity, with the theme of Outer Space! ESDC will also perform a short selection from its repertory.

ESDC has been invited to perform at the Bach Cello Suites’ concert at the renowned Troy Savings Bank Music Hall. ESDC will premiere a new work to the music “On Being Wrong” by Christopher Cerrone and performed live by featured cellist Ashley Bathgate. Other featured cellists include Matt Haimovitz and Mike Block. The evening will be a celebration of the mastery of Bach in honor of the 300th anniversary of his birth.

In celebration of its 28th season as the resident dance company of The Egg, ESDC’s concert will feature two premieres and the live performances of cellist Ashley Bathgate and the Capital Trio – ensemble in residence at UAlbany. On the program will be a new work choreographed for ESDC by company dancer Sara Senecal. The Egg Kids Project, which features young teenage dancers from the Capital Region, will also perform.
