Capital Trio & Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company

Pianist Duncan Cumming, violinist Hilary Cumming and cellist Şölen Dikener team up with the revered regional modern dance company in a program of live music and dynamic dance. The evening will feature a new ESDC premiere with the music of David Walther from his CD, Distance. In 2018, the artists collaborated in honor of the 25th anniversary of UAlbany’s College of Arts and Sciences and created “As Seen from Above” to music selections from William Matthews’ A Book of Hours. The work will be expanded to its full length for this performance.
