ESDC’s Annual Homebase Concert at The Egg 2026

ESDC celebrated the culmination of its 35th season with a concert that included signature works from each decade along with premieres choreographed by guest artist & kathak dancer barkha patel and company member Emily Gunter. A third premiere by Sinopoli, Silken Threads, featured three selections from the opus of George Gershwin recorded by the pianist Kevin Cole, the foremost interpreter of the iconic American composer’s works and part of the Gershwin Legacy Project. The program also featured live music by Don Knaack and visual art by Thom O’Connor.

A true talent who delves deeply into the souls of her partnering artists, Ellen Sinopoli’s “varied program and the exuberant, polished dancing reminded us once again how lucky we are to have this homegrown treasure right in our own backyards.” (TIMES UNION)
