ESDC performs in The Egg’s Hart Theater! The ever creative, collaborative choreography of ESDC, resident dance company of The Egg, returns to the stage to perform its annual showcase of imaginative and inspiring works. The company will be joined on stage by musicians Brian Melick and Maria Zemantauski who will play live for Falling (2003).
Through its four-year partnership with UAlbany’s Physics Department for Girl’s Inc.’s Eureka Summer Program, ESDC examines science through dance workshops drawing from the company’s collaboration with UAlbany Physics professor Keith Earle to develop Choreophysics, an examination of the communion of the arts/dance and sciences/physics.
ESDC will perform with percussionist Brian Melick as part of the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall's Barker Park Kids' Summer Series! This interactive performance of ESDC's popular family-friendly production Undercover Playground brings site-specific dance to the public, and encourages kids to think a little more creatively about the playgrounds they visit! Free to the public. Barker
