Falling

Commissioned by The Egg for its 25th anniversary, this dance features music composed and performed by percussionist Brian Melick and guitarist Maria Zemantauski. Inspired by the contrasting images of an antebellum staircase and a swirl of flame, the dancers spark and smolder as they fall up and fall down.
