Séance

The dance was Inspired by the Opalka Gallery’s exhibition “Séance: Photographs by Shannon Taggart”. The stage is completely transformed through lighting design and floor to ceiling panels of semi-transparent fabric to create an environment that transports the dancers and the audience into a mysterious world of the real and the imagined.

“The mind seeks the memory of the body long gone,
The body withdraws from the mind and spirit,
The spirit chasses the echo of the other two.”
