The Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company (ESDC) will present a hybrid program of its
inventive Putting Out the Welcome Mat series paired with interactive creative movement activities for families. Putting Out the Welcome Mat invites audiences to have an up-close and personal experience with dance. Performing on a large mat of interlocking squares around which the audience gathers, the dancers perform works from the company’s repertoire of over 90 dances. Then it’s your turn to dance! ESDC invites families to get creative and explore different shapes, levels, pathways, and movement qualities using books and other props to inspire movement.
