ESDC’s MISSION is to build awareness of and appreciation for Modern Dance through ongoing commitment to CREATIVITY, artistic and civic COLLABORATION and EDUCATION of current and new audiences. Our VISION is that the professional excellence and creativity of Modern Dance is widely recognized, respected and appreciated for its unique artistry and its boundary-breaking dynamic.
ESDC’s The Wells Project/Slipping into One, is an artistic adventure that is filled with unlimited and unique possibilities. We are creating a dynamic film that seamlessly weaves Dance-For-Camera with Documentary Scenes to depict the joyful and interlaced story of the Process of Creation of our gifted collaborating artists.
ESDC’s OPALKA ENDOWMENT FUND is designed to provide the company increased financial stability and will be used for current and future artistic projects. Please help us to make this very special fund grow and prosper.

The Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company, Inc. is a not-for-profit tax-exempt corporation founded to support and present the choreography of Artistic Director, Ellen Sinopoli. As the resident company of The Egg in Albany, ESDC strives to engage both dance aficionados and the uninitiated into the world of modern dance.
The Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company invites contributors, both individual and corporate at all levels to visit the studio, meet the Artistic Director and dancers, and sit in on actual, working rehearsals. We also invite you to purchase tickets to our next performance and join us for an unforgettable evening of dance.
